Role: Camera Operator

In 2020, I worked as a Camera Operator for Netflix’s Deaf U, a groundbreaking documentary series showcasing the lives of Deaf students at Gallaudet University. My contributions included:

  • Operating the camera to translate the Director of Photography and Producer’s vision into compelling visuals.
  • Handling and managing complex filming equipment, including Wi-Fi setups, cables, and audio systems.
  • Collaborating with the production team to ensure high-quality visual storytelling.
  • Adjusting framing, focus, and camera movement to align with the director’s vision.
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet tight production schedules.
  • Contributing to a project that provided authentic representation of the Deaf community in mainstream media.
